About us

We’re Camilla and Ulf Brandt, and we’ve been working together in carpentry and design for over 25 years. Throughout the years, we’ve created custom-made tables and interiors for exclusive homes – often in close collaboration with architects, engineers, and craftsmen.

Over time, we noticed a growing need for truly exceptional large-format tables – tables that are not only big in size but also in feeling. That’s why we started Borgdalen, where we bring together our experience in a collection of high-quality tables with a focus on form, material, and durability.

All tables are made at the Inredo workshop in Helsingborg, where Ulf is CEO and leads the daily operations. Camilla is responsible for design and communication. Together, we ensure every table reflects what we value most – solid craftsmanship, beautiful materials, and lasting quality.

Do you have questions or are you considering a different size or material? Get in touch at +46 70 634 15 53 or send us a message via the contact form. We look forward to hearing from you!

Shipping and delivery

Delivery time

As all our furniture is made to order, delivery times vary but are estimated to be 8-12 weeks depending on the product and current production status. As a large part of our production is manual, delays can occur at short notice. We always do our best to deliver within the specified timeframe but disclaim all claims for compensation in the event of delivery delays.

Delivery options

You can choose between the following delivery options:

  • Pick up your order at our carpentry shop in Helsingborg. Pick up is at your own expense and risk. Borgdalen is not responsible for transport damage if the customer picks up the goods themselves.
  • Home delivery where your order is delivered to your home and carried to a designated location in your home. Assembly is normally not included. If assembly is required, contact us at info@borgdalen.se .

Before delivery

When your order is ready for delivery, we will contact you to schedule a delivery date and time slot. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the furniture can be received and transported to the desired location in the home.

Make sure that:

  • The furniture can be transported through doors, stairwells or elevators .
  • The road to the delivery address is accessible and passable (in winter, the road and walkway must be shoveled and ice-free ).
  • The location where the furniture will be placed is prepared and there is enough space for moving it in.
  • The way in is free from obstacles such as lamps, furniture or fragile objects. Borgdalen takes no responsibility for damage to objects that have not been moved away.

If the delivery cannot be carried out due to lack of space or other obstacles, the customer will be charged for any additional costs.

Work environment requirements for drivers

When purchasing our furniture where the delivery time exceeds 5 days, the goods are specially manufactured and have been adapted to the customer's wishes. Therefore, no right of withdrawal applies according to the Distance Contracts Act (SFS 2005:59).

For stock items, the right of withdrawal applies within 14 days from receipt of the item. The customer is responsible for the return shipping and is responsible for the item being returned in its original condition. Refunds will only be made after we have received and approved the return. Complaint

Upon delivery, the goods must always be checked by the recipient. Any damage to the packaging or goods must be noted on the shipping document and signed by both the driver and recipient.
